For CDC recommendations and guidance, please review the CDC Travelers Health page for Croatia. Measles is spreading globally via international travel. If you have not previously had Measles, or have not been previously vaccinated, you are advised to get the MMR vaccine not less than two weeks prior to travel. Bringing in medicine for personal use is possible only in quantities necessary for treatment for a maximum of one month, and requires appropriate medical documentation (i.e., history of illness, physician’s certificate, prescription for the medicine). Bringing in medicine which contains narcotics for personal needs is possible in quantities necessary for treatment for a maximum of 5 days along with medical documentation.
Travel Health and Safety
Your passport must be valid for three months beyond your date of departure. You do not need a visa for visits of less than 90 days. Consult the State Dept website to stay up to date on any precautions that may be necessary. You must register at a local police station within 3 days of arrival in Croatia. Our charter company, Sunsail, will register us in advance. If you have plans to stay in a hotel prior to the sail the hotel will register you.
